Dr. Bill Jacobs, D.C., FCCSS(C) Resident

Dr. Bill Jacobs is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West: Doctor of Chiropractic, 1997; magna cum laude. Dr. Jacobs’ experience includes ten years of active practice, working previously at the state-of-the-art Chiropractic Sports Institute in Los Angeles, California and currently at Sumas Mtn. Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic in Abbotsford. This has afforded him the opportunity to treat thousands of patients - including professional and elite athletes - while gaining a wealth of clinical experience. Dr. Jacobs has provided care at the Pan Am Games, All-African Games and Ironman Canada and is currently a resident of the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences of Canada.



Dr. Todd Marshall, D.C., FCCSS(C) Resident

Dr. Todd Marshall is also a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West: Doctor of Chiropractic, 1999; magna cum laude. Dr. Marshall has been practicing in Abbotsford for seven years, after moving back from California. Working with the techniques and skills that are the forefront of chiropractic, Dr. Marshall has been able to treat many top athletes, both professional and amateur as well as using his skills in family practice. Dr. Marshall provides countless workshops to athletes regarding performance and health optimization. Dr. Marshall is also a resident of the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences of Canada.

Dr. Dave Bzdel, D.C.

Dr. Dave Bzdel brings international experience to Sumas Mtn. Chiropractic having been awarded his Chiropractic degree from RMIT University in Australia. He has practiced in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK, and having spent part of his childhood in Abbotsford, he is excited about his recent return home to practice in Canada. Dr. Bzdel has considerable experience providing chiropractic care to patients with a variety of nervous system conditions, from headaches and fibromyalgia, to babies suffering colic and ear infections. He has special interests and additional training in caring for children, and his experience as a hockey and rugby team doctor reinforces Sumas Mtn. Chiropractic's approach to "Healthcare for the Active Family". Dr. Bzdel's postgraduate studies currently include qualification through the International Chiropractic Association as a certified Wellness Doctor. This will further enable him to provide care that incorporates research proven aspects of diet, exercise and stress reduction to further enhance the healing experieince and quality of life of his patients.

Dr. Chris Vallee, DTCM

Dr. Chris Vallee is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a Registered Acupuncturist in the province of British Columbia. He graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in June of 1995. Chris has been a member of the Acupuncturist Association of BC, the Canadian Acupuncturist and TCM Alliance and the Qualified Acupuncturist and TCM Alliance. Chris has had a successful practice in Abbotsford for the last ten years, working with players from the B.C. Lions, Abbotsford Airforce Junior Football team, Abbotsford Soccer Association, Abbotsford Rugby Club, local hockey players and other local athletes in the area.

Chris is currently the President of the QATCMA, Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the QATCMA, ICBC Liaison for the QATCMA and Founding Member of the British Columbia Sports Acupuncture Association. To date, as President of the QATCMA, he has begun creating awareness with the BC Minister of Health and was interviewed by Channel M News and the Abbotsford Times.
